I worked as a solicitor for 5 years before joining ILFS’ Directory Submissions Team in 2010. I am responsible for drafting Legal Directory submissions and advising law firm’s on how to approach the Directory Submission process.
As a Directory Submissions Editor I work with clients from across the world on how best to prepare and maximise the impact of their Legal Directory Submissions. I assist in drafting the content to ensure that it is relevant, succinct and in clear business English. I also advise on which work highlights to include and which lawyers to put forward for ranking for each practice area. I regularly provide feedback to firms and, where required, answer queries in relation to the Directory Submission process.
Before I joined ILFS I worked at the leading London firm Lawrence Graham (now Gowling WLG) in the Commerce & Technology team. I specialised in commercial contracts, all areas of technology law as well large-scale outsourcing projects. I also gained extensive experience in assisting on corporate transactions, representing the commercial team and leading reviews on commercial and technology contracts. This involved regular exposure to negotiation and transactional work as well as ongoing advisory and research based work.
