ǼLEX is one of the leading and largest full service corporate commercial and litigation law firms in West Africa, with offices in Nigeria and Ghana.
ǼLEX felt it needed to improve its Legal Directory ranking position in Nigeria and make its first submissions for its Ghana practice. The firm also wanted to raise its profile in the media through effective Legal Directory submissions and supporting media campaign.
ILFS Role
ILFS worked with the lawyers and marketing team at ǼLEX to improve the quality of their submissions so that the Legal Directory researchers could understand the strength and depth of the firm.
We also created an annual media plan for ǼLEX, advising on Legal Directory profiles and co-publishing articles that would help to raise their international visibility. We advised on the potential effectiveness of different advertising offers made to them throughout the year and where necessary negotiate prices and place bookings with publishers.
The Result
ǼLEX is now ranked in all 19 areas covered in Nigeria (6 in Band/Tier 1) by the main Legal Directories and is ranked in all practice areas where they submit in Ghana.
The firm also have 33 individual lawyers ranked.
ǼLEX also runs an effective media campaign that has helped to increase awareness in its key international markets.
